What this might look like

Anxiety, depression and burnout can show up differently for different people. You might recognise some of these feelings:

  • Overthinking or a mind that won't switch off
  • Panic, worry, or a persistent sense of dread
  • Persistent worry about what people think of you
  • Perfectionism and never feeling like you are enough
  • Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix
  • Feeling down, flat, and a loss of motivation
  • Difficulty switching off from work
  • Sunday night dread and a sense of going through the motions

How Louise works with this

Louise's approach is warm, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. Sessions are collaborative — you won't be told what to feel or pushed faster than feels manageable.

Together, you might work toward:

  • Learning skills to calm your body
  • Understanding the patterns that keep distress going
  • Learning to relate to yourself with more compassion and less criticism
  • Gently questioning thoughts that fuel worry or hopelessness
  • Building confidence that feels grounded rather than forced

Medicare rebates

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates on psychology sessions. Louise accepts clients with a Mental Health Care Plan and can work with you on a schedule that suits your situation.

Sessions are available in-person in Alderley, Brisbane, or via telehealth across Queensland.
